VA Disabilty

In May 1984 I retired from the US Army and filed a disability claim for a Service connected knee injury. I was granted 30% disability. In 2010 I received a letter from the Nehmer Review Board Waco, TX stating I may be eligible for compensation Combat related to my tour in Vietnam. I asked my cardiologist and primary care doctors to assist me in making my claim for Ischemic heart disease, which they did. I joind the DAV and there office in San Antonio assisted me with the claims. I received a total VA compensation of 50%.
