High School

I attended Sidney Senior High School in Sidney from 1960-1964.

 

College

I attended Collage of San Mateo in San Mateo, CA after completing my enlistment in the Navy.

   

Military Training

I joined the Navy in May 1974.  Basic training was at the Great Lakes training facility.  After basic training I attended Fire Control training in Baingridge, MD and San Diego, CA.

National Defense Service Medal

Vietnam Service Medal

  

First Duty Station

My first fleet assignment was aboard the USS John S. McCain (DL-3) which included a WESTPAC cruise.  High point of the cruise was visiting Sydney, Australia. 

 

Second Duty Station

My second fleet assignment was aboard the USS Chemung (AO-30).  The service fleet was a totally different experience.
