Brigham Young University.   I graduated from BYU in 1967 with a degree in secondary education and started teaching and coaching at Provo High School in Utah in 1967.  In 1968 I joined the officer candidate school in the USMC in Quantico Va. Was commissioned a 2nd Lt. in 1968 and went to Ft. Sill Oaklahoma to Artillary School. I was stationed in Camp LaJune North Carolina and then Quantico again before going to Camp Hanson in Oakinawa Japan for my final year in the Marine Corp getting out in 1971 to resume my teaching and coaching career at Provo High School.  I was married in 1967 and have 6 children and 20 grandchildren.
