For a variety of reasons, many veterans will oftentimes benefit greatly from friends, family members, and military buddies who can provide written affirmation of health issues being claimed by a veteran for disability purposes.  The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) places a great deal of value in testimonial statements from friends, family members, and military buddies in support of a veterans claim. 

Unfortunately, veterans have a difficult time getting Buddy Statements from friends, family members, and military buddies.  One main reason, those asked to provide Buddy Statements feel a great deal of pressure to construct a Buddy Statement that is formatted correctly, one that is grammatically correct, and professionally typed.  While those concerns are greatly appreciated, they should not factor in submitting a Buddy Statement for a veteran.  The VA raters simply want the essential statements that speak to the health issues being claimed by the veteran.

To minimize such concerns, USVCP now makes it possible for all veterans to gather as many Buddy Statements as necessary for their claim with flexibility, ease, and comfort.  USVCP makes it possible for friends, family members and military buddies to click on a link that will take them to a unique online form where they can provide the necessary Buddy Statement to the veteran.  Veterans may literally collect thousands of Buddy Statements from friends, family members and military buddies.  The Buddy Statements are sent directly to the veteran’s online profile and may be accessed at their convenience.
