5. Can I send my documents certified mail?
Answer
6. Why won’t my fax
go through? Answer
USVCP receives 500-750 faxes
every day. Days before and after military Holidays exceed 1000+. If a veteran finds
that his/her fax is not connecting, we encourage veterans to keep trying. Activity on the fax tends to
slow down from 10:00 P.M. – 6:00 A.M. CST.
7. How will my documents
be protected? Answer All documents received
by USVCP are protected and archived under three layers of security. Through the use of fire protective compartments, locked
vaults, and a state-of-the-art alarm system, all documents are extremely secured.
8. My name
has changed since I served in the military. Am I still eligible for a Veteran ID Card? Answer Regarding name changes to acquire a Veteran ID Card, many veterans
send supporting documents that indicate their legal name change. Without such documents we cannot verify military service.
9. Who do I make my check/money order payable to?
Answer USVCP is a division of Aspyre Media.
Make check/Money Order payable to parent company Aspyre Media.
10. I served in two branches
of the Armed Forces. Which branch do I place on my application?
Answer USVCP leaves it up the veteran as to which branch they want on their Veteran ID Card.
