6.  Why won’t my fax go through?

Answer

USVCP receives 500-750 faxes every day.  Days before and after military Holidays exceed 1000+.  If a veteran finds that his/her fax is not connecting, we encourage veterans to keep trying.  Activity on the fax tends to slow down from 10:00 P.M. – 6:00 A.M. CST.

7.  How will my documents be protected?

Answer

All documents received by USVCP are protected and archived under three layers of security. Through the use of fire protective compartments, locked vaults, and a state-of-the-art alarm system, all documents are extremely secured.

8.  My name has changed since I served in the military.  Am I still eligible for a Veteran ID Card?

Regarding name changes to acquire a Veteran ID Card, many veterans send supporting documents that indicate their legal name change. Without such documents we cannot verify military service.
