Question #67

Are Vietnam veterans entitled to benefits due to loss of hearing & or hypertension? If so, what percentage of benefits is awarded?

A1:   It's not about what era veteran you are, but can your hypotension and hearing loss be connected to time in service. Best advice is to get good medical documentation and consult a VSO about filing claims.  (CP)  5/28/2016

Question #68

I am 100% but somewhat active. However, I cannot do much physically. I am 63yrs-old. Spouse is 75 and in fairly bad health. Is there any added benefits for stuff like lawn care and or housekeeping?

A1:  Unfortunately no. You would have to show you require aid and attendance because you cannot take of personal needs like feeding or bathing yourself. This does not extend to other services not related to your health.  (CP)  5/28/2016
