PSP Questions   Question #81       Are vets who served in peacetime entitled to a pension, health care or life insurance?   A1:  Peacetime veterans are not entitled to pension. One of the criteria is that you had to serve at least one day during a period of war. You can possibly be entitled to health care, but the life insurance depends on whether you converted your SGLI when you got out. How do I get a VSO to look at my uploads and have my claim go to the next phase?   A1:  You sign a POA with your VSO, then he/she can access your claims folder.  (PW)  6/11/2016 A2:  That depends on whether the uploads were done through e benefits by the claimant or if they were submitted through the VSO.
