Question #95

I have the proof, doctors, medical reports etc.  Yet my claim was remanded 4 times.  I am turned down now for over 40 years. Why?

A1:   I suggest you speak to a veteran attorney in your area or one that serves nationwide. 40 years is way to long, a day is to long. You can ask the court for some relief.  (PW)  6/26/2016

A2:  Any VA doctor can diagnose you with anything, but it does not mean these conditions are service connected. With what little information provided, you need a couple of things. A good VSO and a detailed Nexus letter stating your conditions are more likely than not related to military service.  (PW)  6/26/2016

A3:  Contact O.I.G.and relay issues with V.A.Health Service.  (RS)  7/7/2016

A4:  Contact ALL your Senators and State Reps and ask for a Congressional Inquiry posting it on their Facebook page.  (SB)  7/9/2016

A5:  Unfortunately, you have not provided enough information to provide any type of accurate information.  (RJ)  7/19/2016

A6:  RJ said it all.  A good attorney, agent, veteran service officer wouldn't be able to give you an idea based upon the statement I have the proof, doctors, medical reports, etc.  There is nothing to allow us to go in and check the remands on line from the BVA.  The why may be that as RJ and PW said you can't show yet that your diagnoses are related to the military.  (CKP)  7/29/2016

Question #96

Is ulcerative colitis linked to agent orange?

A1:   Short answer No!  (PW)  6/26/2016

A2:  Long answer. No.  Ulcerative colitis is often confused with two other digestive disorders: irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and Crohn's disease. The common irritable bowel syndrome affects both the small and large intestines, causing abdominal pain, gassiness, bloating, and changes in bowel habits -- constipation, diarrhea, or both.  So is your diagnosis a good one and check out your service medical record to see if you have treatment of diarheaa, stomach problems, etc. while you were on active duty.  I would suggest that you get your records and see a County Veteran Service Officer if you have the records it may show a link to the diarrhea, stomach problems if they are in your SMR.  (CKP)  7/29/2016
